About us

Minority Ethnic Groups Network

The Minority Ethnic Groups Network (MEGN) was set up to give support and a voice to staff from minority ethnic groups who might not always be heard. The network is a forum, which works to enable staff to develop, make progress and to realise their potential. Research shows that although the Trust has a diverse workforce this is not represented across all levels of the organisation, in particular in more senior grades.

As a result networks such as MEGN are essential to provide information on the range of resources accessible to staff of which they are often unaware. In addition the network responds to staff comments and suggestions and organises and delivers events tailored to their needs, for example opportunities for networking and professional development seminars.
