Q What do you do that keeps you healthy?
A Exercise
Q What made you start doing this?
A To keep fit
Q How often do you do this, and where does it take
place?
A 3 times a week, Sharpe End
Q What steps would someone take in order to do the
same/similar things to stay fit and healthy – how easy is
it?
A “Very easy, listen to your body. Start off
doing gentle exercise and attend classes regularly, so that you can
improve onto higher level. There is a social side; you meet new and
different people which you look forward to seeing at the
classes”.
Q What advice would you give to anyone wanting to stay
fit and healthy?
A Start (1) keep fit class. Then build up to
more classes.
Q What else do you do to stay fit and
healthy?
A “I just exercise, have interesting family and
it’s a pleasure to see them. I go on musical holiday and I belong
to the Hoxton singers. We have done concerts at the Royal Festival
Hall and City Hall, and also in various places in Hackney. We are
practicing now for carols for Christmas to be sang locally”
