There are very few people who have successfully quit smoking who
can say that they did it on their own.
Getting help to quit is the best way to help ensure success, and
there's no shame in asking for help. We offer a variety of ways to
help you, and in several neighbourhoods.

No appointment is necessary. However, please note that the
clinic runs on a first come first-served basis and you
may have to wait. Occasionally, if maximum allocation has been
reached, you may be required to return the following
week.
If you would like support to stop smoking, you can access local
pharmacists, GP practice nurses and health advocates who are all
trained advisors. For more intensive support, group sessions are
also available.

Based at the Homerton Hospital, a specialist midwife advisor
supports pregnant mothers who wish to quit smoking. Phone the
