Sickle cell and thalassaemia service

The sickle cell and thalassaemia team offers a pan-Hackney
service to individuals at risk of having sickle cell disease, beta
thalassaemia major and other major haemoglobinopathies. Any
individuals wanting to ascertain their sickle cell/thalassaemia
status can walk in to the centre and request counselling and
screening. Not only do we work locally, we are seen as a national
resource.
