Many optometrists have shops on the high street. They should be
your first port of call if you are experiencing any problems with
your eyes. The optometrist will carry out an eye examination to
determine the cause of the symptoms and if necessary refer you to
an appropriate specialist.
Many people are entitled to free NHS sight tests. To find out
whether you are entitled contact your local optometrist or

If you need emergency eye treatment Moorfields Eye Hospital
operates a 24 hours, 7 days a week Accident & Emergency
Service.
