Ace Awards 2010 short-list announced!

We have it, the short-list for this year’s Ace Awards! Now in its second year, the Ace Awards is about rewarding the incredible work of local NHS staff over the past 12 months, seeking nominations from staff and patients alike. The winners will receive thunderous applause at a red carpet ceremony at the Stoke Newington Town Hall on 10 June.

NHS City and Hackney Chief Executive Jacqui Harvey said: “Thank you to everyone who placed a nomination for the Ace Awards; this has been an excellent way of discovering hidden talent and amazing dedication that makes City and Hackney stand out as a great place to work.”

The judging panel, which included board members, senior directors and patient and staff-side representatives, reviewed a staggering 300 plus nominations from staff and patients. There were so many nominations for ‘unsung hero’ that judges were compelled to break the category into three; allowing staff in all three divisions to be properly acknowledged!
