The trade union for people

The Society of Chiropodists and
Podiatrists
The Society of Chiropodists and
Podiatrists is the Professional Body and Trade Union for registered
podiatrists. Membership is restricted to those qualified for
registration and the Society represents around 10,000 private
practitioners, NHS podiatrists and students.

BAOT (British Association of Occupational
Therapists)
As the only professional, educational and trade union organisation
for occupational therapists, their support staff and students in
the UK, BAOT already have a strong membership. They represent OT's
views to Government, commissioners, professional bodies, voluntary
organisations, consumers and other organisations.

The Royal College of Nursing
The Royal College of Nursing is the largest professional union for
nursing in the UK, representing over 370,000 nurses, health care
assistants and nursing students, both in the NHS and the private
sector.

A specialist trade union affiliated to both the TUC and STUC
representing those nurses who work in the community, making highly

CSP (The Chartered Society of
Physiotherapy)
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
is the professional, educational and trade union body for the
country's 45,000 chartered physiotherapists, physiotherapy students
and assistants. It aims to support its members and help them to
provide the highest standards of patient care. The CSP provides an
exceptionally wide range of member services and is also a
campaigning organisation, speaking up for physiotherapists and
promoting the physiotherapy profession.
